Drew this at the last minute for my cousin's graduation party. It took me about 2 hours to come up with an idea, & about a half hour to rough out, clean up, color & ink over.

Later (as in 10 minutes before the party), I wrote in the blank spots "They Grow Up So Fast" & "Congrats, Matt" along the bottom. I originally was going to write 'crow' instead of 'grow', but I thought the pun would be a bit too corny.

Drawn in Blue & Black Pencil, Colored with Copic Markers & Inked with a Size (1) Pigma Pen.

Whoa! This is very well done, Mike. I really like the design and pose of the rooster. I'm also digging the colors. I ought to buy some Copic pens for myself they seem pretty cool. I'm sure your cousin really liked this. Good job, again.

Brilliant. The pun and picture alone seems to be the set up for a title card of sorts...plus the art's rather neat. Jolly good stuff 8-)
